Great news, AMS Tigers! 🐯❤️
We will be back in school tomorrow! We can’t wait to see everyone back on campus!
A huge thank you to our Ardmore City Schools Operations Department and Vernon’s Plumbing for their quick response and hard work to get everything ready for our students and staff.

See you tomorrow, Tigers!

At Lincoln 3rd & 4th Grade Center, our Gifted and Talented students took on an exciting engineering challenge—designing a tool to collect snowballs quickly! ❄️ Their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills were on full display as they turned innovative ideas into real-world solutions. We’re so proud of the way they worked together and brought their designs to life!

Congratulations Jefferson Tigers! 🎉

Extracurricular Activities:A coach or sponsor of all extracurricular activities will contact students directly through ROOMS with specific practice times and details.
An update regarding school on Wednesday will be shared by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

🚨 GRADUATION DATE CHANGE – IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨
After announcing the 2026 ACS graduation ceremony date in early November, feedback from students, parents, and staff indicated that the originally scheduled Tuesday ceremony conflicted with another graduation and was not the most accessible option for many families. Welcome back, students and staff! After an unplanned week off due to winter weather, we’re so excited to see you back on campus.
Schools and buildings will be operating on their regular schedules.
Please take your time and be cautious in traffic lanes and parking lots, as some lingering ice and slick spots remain.
Have a great day! Go Tigers!

Tiger Family — Ardmore City Schools will be closed on Friday, January 30, due to continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures. With temperatures dropping below freezing overnight and a refreeze expected on residential and school roads Friday morning, we will remain closed for Friday, Jan 30th. We are concerned about road conditions for our buses, teen drivers, staff, and families traveling to and from our campuses.
We want to give a HUGE thank you to our operations department and crews for their continued work to prepare parking lots and buildings so students and staff can return safely on Monday.
We truly appreciate your patience, support, and understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety of our students and staff. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday!

Tiger Family— Ardmore City Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 29, due to continued poor travel conditions and cold temperatures. While we anticipated better conditions, many residential roads and school parking lots remain unsafe. To protect the health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff, and due to concerns for bus routes and young drivers, all ACS schools will remain closed on Thursday. All extracurricular activities are also canceled. The district will continue to closely monitor conditions. Please stay safe.
