AHS students loved volunteering at the Penguin Shop at Charles Evans Elementary! From NHS members earning service hours to students eager to help, it was a great example of AHS giving back. ❤️🖤

This past weekend, JES Stu-Co spent the afternoon serving others at the Veterans Center. Students enjoyed playing board games with our veterans and spreading holiday cheer. Each student brought a special gift to share, and Christmas cards were delivered to veterans who weren’t feeling well enough to join us in the rec room.

We were also thankful to have the Lions Club join us for the game portion of our service day. The Christmas cards were lovingly made by Jefferson students and proudly delivered by Stu-Co.

A meaningful afternoon of service, smiles, and gratitude ❤️🖤

🎄✈️ Christmas Around the World in 4th Grade ELA!

Our students kicked off their travels with their very own passports, exploring holiday traditions from across the globe. Lincoln students had a special treat — Yera, an AHS exchange student from Kazakhstan, shared about his culture and celebrations. The kids loved it! 🌍❤️🖤

We are incredibly proud of Jefferson Stu-Co for representing our district so well at the 2nd Annual Bell Ringing Event! Their enthusiasm was felt by everyone there as they sang carols, rang the bell, and handed out candy canes to spread joy throughout our community.

Randy the Reindeer even joined in this year, greeting kids and adding extra holiday magic. A sincere thank-you to Ms. Espinoza, Ms. Blackmon, and Ms. Rateliff for volunteering their time and supporting our students.

We loved seeing so many Jefferson families and members of the ACS community stop by. Moments like these remind us how special our district truly is. ❤️🖤

Coach Coley’s class took learning to the next level with a Dogfish Shark dissection in the lab! Students explored anatomy up close, asked amazing questions, and connected classroom concepts to real-world biology.
